I don’t know what’s going on, but for the last two months I have experienced some weird symptoms. I started to have pain in my arms, and sometimes even twitches. It felt so strange to look at my upper arm and see my muscle jerk involuntarily.
Each time that happened it went on for close to fifteen minutes. I did not know what to do. If I should go see a doctor or not. My wife said it was probably due to the fact that I was exhausted.
At that time we had just moved in our new house and I had done a lot of lifting and carrying. Thus I agreed with her theory and did not pay attention to my mysterious symptoms until they reappear two weeks later.
Then everything started all of the sudden. I had twitches on my arms and legs, and my fingers were getting numb quite often. I noted that during night time I was feeling a burning sensation under my skin. And it was not always located in the same spot. As if it was crawling from one place to another. The first time I felt the burning it was in my left knee. But throughout the following days it moved to my elbow, my shoulder, upper back and then on my skull.
I cannot really describe the way it made me feel. The closest I could get to a proper description would be having thousands of burning ice needles piercing through my skull. I never experienced such a thing. I scared the heck out of me.
A few days ago while I was having one of this weird episodes, someone knocked on my door. Since my wife was out for shopping somes Summer curtains longueuil, I had to go see who it was. When I tried to get off the couch and stand, my legs were numb. Numb to the point that I could not walk. I had to crash back onto the couch and wait a minute or two, until the numbness went away.
When I finally reached the door a few moments later, there was no one standing there. All I could see was a notice left by the guy from the Internet company who came to check my line. I looked for his car on the street, but he had taken off fast.
I was not sure if I should call the company or not. I left the notice on the table and dragged myself towards the couch. I felt so tired! I still do.
