The new patio

The new patio - Vincent Thomas

I’ve been spending what feels like an eternity umming and ahhing over the decision to get a new patio installed, but I’ve finally bitten the bullet and decided to go for it. After all, life is short and I’d probably only end up using the money that I’m about to spend on things that would rot my teeth and my brain.

So with that being said, the research is underway to find companies that can help me achieve what I’m looking for with the patio. I’ve already found a company that do good awnings so that side of things is completely covered. Now I just need to find a good company that provides the Edmonton paving, as the quality of the paving is probably the most important aspect of the entire endeavour.

See, I don’t just want some basic paving that barely does the job but ends up looking a little bit dreary, especially when compared to the rest of the garden. I’m looking for something patterned and eye-catching so that I can actually enjoy being out on the patio. Of course, to go along with that, I also want something that is as low maintenance as possible, so it is important to me that I can find a company that will match all of those criteria.

I actually have a few patterns in mind so I have drawn them out to give myself an idea of what they might look like. The trick now is to scour the web to see if I can find any paving companies that can offer what I’m looking for. I’m sure I’ll be spoiled for choice so I’ll probably end up having to do more than a little bit of research to find out which ones are actually worth my time.

I’ve already tried asking around the neighbours but they honestly haven’t given me any information that I’ll be able to use. A few of them have gotten paving installed in the past but it was usually for a drive or something along those lines, so they can speak for the quality of the companies they used when it comes to patterned paving. So, I guess it’s going to be a little bit of work to begin with. Still, as long as I keep thinking of the finished product, I’m sure I’ll be able to get through it and have my new patio in no time at all.
